Among the various CBD honeys available, different methods are used in their production. Mixed with full-spectrum oil, pollen, CBD isolate, resin, etc., not all honeys are created equal, so obviously not all are created equal. Some manufacturers using resin need to reach a temperature of around 80°C to melt it, which will alter the quality of the honey. Indeed, honey loses its properties when heated above 42°C.
Making your own CBD honey is possible, but it requires some skill. First of all, beekeeping isn't something you can just pick up. But if you start with commercially purchased honey, making your own CBD honey becomes feasible.
We offer an easy-to-follow recipe that includes homemade CBD oil. However, please note that this honey may not be suitable for all uses. For example, when used in a liquid preparation, its application becomes unpredictable because the oil in the honey will separate and your mixture (cocktail or hot beverage) will be uneven.
For unlimited use, we recommend our HONI honey, developed with a water-soluble oil.
