Making your own infused olive oil

Make your own ingredient following the advice of Bouillon Chanvre.

Preheat a saucepan filled with water.
Roughly chop thehemp flowers

In an airtight jar, combine the olive oil and flowers. Place the jar in a saucepan to cook the mixture in a bain-marie. Use a tea towel to prop up the jar and prevent it from touching the saucepan directly.

Leave the flowers to macerate in olive oil over low heat for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the maceration continue for as long as you like (from 30 minutes up to 48 hours).

IV.

Pour the infused oil into a glass bottle with an airtight seal, filtering it through a sieve.

Can be stored for up to 6 months.
